Job Description
This position is filled till the end of 1012. Please feel free to contact us for next year.
Helping with care and training of the horses. Chores, riding, longing, groundwork, grooming, feeding, assisting with lessons and shows. Lessons and an opportunity to show are offered. Applicant has to be comfortable around young horses and have good riding skills. Plenty of riding time will be available. Students from US and other countries are wellcome with sufficient communication skills in English, German or Dutch.
Requirements
Responsible person that loves working with horses. Non smoker, no pets. Positive attitude and able to work independent. Active go getter. Polite and good communication skills. Enjoy working with children and adults. Able to follow instructions and follow through with assignments.
Drivers license and preferable your own transportation.
Required Skills
Riding; Driving license; Handling Youngstock; Lunging; Bandaging; Exercising.

Accommodation
Small bedroom in main house with private bathroom. Wireless internet and satellite TV in bedroom. Semi private use of refrigerator on same level as bedroom and bathroom. Use kitchen and laundry. Semi private use of down stairs family room with big screen TV.

Hands-on experience in running a stable. This position does not just include doing chores. You will be the right hand of the manager and will be encouraged to bring in your ideas and creativity. Bringing a horse can be discussed.
The Facility
Small stable with a maximum of 11 horses. Dutch owner/manager. Primary dressage stable but also some hunter/jumper. Lesson horses and boarders. Indoor, outdoor arena and hot-walker. Box stalls, paddocks and pastures. Heated tack-room and 2 heated tack-stalls. Private trails.
