Job Description
Lake Bryn Mawr Camp is home to approximately 365 campers (ages seven to 15) and 175 staff. Our girls are full-season campers who attend a seven-week session. We believe that our philosophy of encouraging personal growth and responsibility helps our campers grow into confident, community-minded young women. Campers learn four core values—Loyalty, Beauty, Merit and Comradeship—that are the foundation of the Bryn Mawr philosophy.
We have always had an English riding program at Lake Bryn Mawr Camp, and have been dedicated to teaching campers of all riding levels the fundamentals of hunt-seat riding and equitation. As of the summer of 2012, we will also have a specialty camp designed specifically for equestrian campers. This short-session camp will allow horse-lovers to focus on riding and horse care, and girls will receive two riding lessons per day, along with a period of on-the-ground horsemanship and one period of barn management. All riding classes will take place at Bryn Mawr Farms, a 50 acre full-service riding facility. Our property includes 26 stalls, an indoor arena that is over 10,000 square feet in size, a 100x180 outdoor arena, acres of trails, and a cross-country course.
Presently, we are seeking general riding staff to help teach lessons, care for our horses, and live in cabins with campers. Staff members must be available to work from June 8th through August 10th. Please visit our websites at www.campbrynmawr.com and www.brynmawrridingcamp.com to learn more about Bryn Mawr. Interested parties should fill out an online application. If you have any questions please call 1-888-526-2267 or email britton@campbrynmawr.com.
