Job Description

We are looking for a motivated working student or two. We will look at part-time and full-time students. The position will involve feeding, cleaning, handling horses, grooming and tacking horses for the trainer, general horse and farm care. In return we will provide housing for you and one horse, or you can be paired with one of our horses if you do not have one. We will provide you with lessons and training - possible competing depending on progression, work and ability. Would like someone with some eventing experience - will look at students with desire that have some jumping background as well.

Good attitude, No drama, willingness to learn and take direction, hard worker, motivated -

Riding; Driving license; Schooling; Lunging; Bandaging; Clipping; Trim/Pull; Exercising.

Required Expertise

Dressage; Eventing; Show Jumping; Flatwork.

Accommodation

A room furnished or unfurnished (depending on your needs) shared housing in 6 bedroom 3 bathroom house. Common kitchen area and living area. two laundry rooms on-site. Pasture board for horse in large 50 acre fields. other boarding or multiple horse board negotiable

Benefits

You will receive housing, and a board or use of a horse here if you do not have a horse. You are allowed an outside job as well, since no pay is involved with this position.

The Facility

We are a full service event facility. We run several events through-out the year. We break and train horse using natural methods alongside classical training methods. We have many top level eventers that train out of the facility during the winter months. We have two top trainers here year round. We have an active sales program. 122 stall, 160 acre facility.
