Job Description

Come join our staff for a breeding apprenticeship. Your experiences will include aiding with ultrasounding, making the best possible match between mare and stallion, assisting with the processes and foaling.You will also learn a very special inptinting process that produces amazing results. We have a certified breeding technician on site to implement all parts of our breeding program, ultrasounding, inseminations,stallion collection, processing seman,even embryo flushes and transfers. You will get regular riding lessons from our excellent staff and advanced lessons from our Grand Prix trainer,and learn how to drive singles and pairs,as well as how to start youngstock correctly,plus much much more.

Must have a desire to learn,and a good work ethic.

Living quarters with other interns, internet, TV and washer and dryer. stipend for food is given weekly.

The Facility

Eclusive 650 acre Friesian horse facility. We are the largest Friesian farm in North America with some of the top horses in the country. Through our program, we offer internships and apprenticeships in breeding and training, in riding and driving as well as equine management, starting green horses and preparation for keurings and shows. Our breeding program is thorough and completely on site, with a certified breeding technician on staff who does all collections, inseminations, embryo flushes and transfers. We also host clinics and women's camps throughout the year, along with lessons in both riding and driving, guest house rentals, performances and weddings. We also specialize in dressage and have an excellent grand-prix trainer on staff that will help you with your riding for free!
