Job Description
We are a small Guest Ranch, looking for versatile person who enjoys pitching in on various areas of running the ranch. Some Instructing and Trail Guiding of small groups. Mainly retail feed-store, inventory and computer-smart advertising would be the ideal canidate, but not exclusively. During the off-season we look for help with numerous projects always going on. We are experiencing a small but steady growth. New construction is underway! Open to hearing new ideas and thoughts. We are not a fancy show-barn. Tourism pays our bills, so we like to lavish our guests with a good time. Great Island and nice small ranch waiting for someone to call it home. Full time - Year Round Work.
Requirements
Please have a VALID Drivers License.
REFERENCES: 2 personal and 2 previous work.
BACKGROUND CHECK.
Ranch Insurance does not allow dogs or children LIVING on Ranch grounds.

Accommodation
26-28' - Private Trailer, (NOT shared-living quarters). With the basics- Refrigerator, Stove, Hot Shower, Television if you like. Great if you do not require a large living space. Quite COZY for a couple, but possible.
Benefits
Ranch is located on San Juan Island, WA STATE. Quiet and peaceful living. Just outside the town of Friday Harbor - the island has no road to the mainland. Trailers for housing are available which are located on the Ranch Grounds. Television or wireless internet connection is available. Good-natured crew to work with. Generally you can expect a minimum starting wage of $1350.00 mo or $1000.00 mo if you would like a modest trailer to live in. Wages increase with longevity and/ or skill-set.
The Facility
Family-Oriented Guest Ranch, WA State - (San Juan Island). Horseback Riding, Retail Feed & Supply Store and Guest Lodging.
HORSEBACK RIDING: Tourists keep us busy - Forest Trail Rides,Youth Mini-Trail and Lead-Line Ponies. Riding Classes are low-level beginning, English or Western. Gymkana Games on Sundays are a big hit with local residents. Childrens Day Camps, 4-H Program throughout the year, weather permitting. Horses are gentle, easy-going as safety is a huge priority.
FEED & SUPPLY STORE: Locals come for feed etc. We sell chicks, ducks in the Spring. Hay & Straw Sales. Pick-Ups / Deliveries are constant. Inventory and Restocking is on-going, as well as customer special orders.
LODGING: Summer is popular for tourist families and off-season we offer discounted stays and riding pkg's.
