This is one heck of an amazing yard!
after searching for work in the equestrian industry for many months after moving to the U.K,
I was approached by Mrs Rose the Proprietor of this Fantastic family run business, I was quickly on the door of the office for my Interview with Mrs Rose and her Daughter Jennifer, they where so nice I felt completely at home and more than welcome to be there! as its not easy being an outsider coming into a new workplace, all of the staff were so nice i had a cup of tea and got chatting with the boss, which I very quickly grew found of,
you also get really nice lunches provided daily which where a huge benefit for those days in previous jobs you would have had to go without, and they where very accommodating to staff members who also had vegetarian diets,
before I knew it I had a full time Job on such a lovely yard!
from the moment I got there i felt like part of the furniture!
the whole team where so helpful and very agar to help me get settled into the daily yard routine,
as i was already BHSAI qualified i quickly took up Mrs Rose on her working student spot as the training here is like no other!! the facilities alone are next to none,
best school horses I have worked with, and the livery clients where always so nice and even on weekends you got some sneaky doughnuts or cakes left in the club room for the staff! its these little things that really shows you how much your appreciated and that go's a long way working in this Industry!
I really cant put into words how much I loved it here and Mrs Rose will always be a friend I could call if i needed anything, so if your sitting at home worried about making your next move!! you cant go wrong if your committed and have pride in your work, South Medburn Farm is for you!!
