Archibald Racing is seeking experienced trackwork riders to join our team.
We have opportunities for riders looking for long-term full-time employment, as well as experienced riders seeking short-term work over the Australian summer.
Applicants must be confident riding 8–10 horses per morning, including timed pacework and fast work, with experience handling young horses, colts and racehorses. Barrier education and jump-out experience is highly regarded.
You will need to be a reliable team player, able to follow instructions and communicate well within a busy racing stable.
You’ll be joining a professional, supportive team working with high-quality racehorses across one of Australia’s leading racing operations.
International riders already in Australia, or travelling to Australia with valid working rights, are welcome to apply.

LOCATIONS
Opportunities are available across NSW and Queensland, including Scone, Warwick Farm and Eagle Farm, depending on current vacancies.
ACCOMMODATION
Staff share-house accommodation may be available close to the stable, subject to availability. Some locations also have access to shared staff transport.
We also have a Horse Truck Driver opportunity available. If you have experience transporting horses, this is a great chance to earn additional income alongside your stable role. Archibald Racing will cover the cost of obtaining your Australian HR truck licence if you are eligible.

Archibald Racing is a leading thoroughbred training operation with stables at Warwick Farm and Scone in NSW, and Eagle Farm in Queensland.
Our team operates across multiple yards, with a large number of horses in training at any one time.
