Watershed Farm & Bowness Stud are looking for a highly capable and confident horse handler to join our team at a busy farm located near Young, NSW. This is a role for someone with extensive, hands-on experience handling young, unbroken horses — particularly those with a background in the breeding, racing or performance industry.

The role includes: Assisting with the upcoming breeding season – foaling, vet work, care of broodmares and foals; Educating and handling well-bred, unbroken weanlings and yearlings Leading, grooming, and preparing horses for sales and inspections General horse care, feeding, maintenance and farm duties

You must have: Strong horse handling experience – especially with young or green horses The ability to work safely, calmly, and confidently around valuable livestock A proactive, hardworking attitude and willingness to help across all areas of the farm Good communication, honesty and teamwork skills

Details: Minimum commitment: 4+ months – please only apply if you can stay for this period or longer Accommodation available Eligible for 88-day regional work (Working Holiday Visa) Australian applicants welcome too
