Bowness Stud are seeking a number of experienced freelance leaders for their yearling sales in 2027. Attending the Magic Millions yearling sale on the Gold Coast in January and June plus the Magic Millions yearling sale in Adelaide (March), plus an Inglis yearling sale in Sydney (February). Applicant must be confident with big strong colts and a fantastic, easy going member of a busy team. Applicants need to show previous experience in working as a leader at yearling sales either in Australia or overseas, provide photos and references with past employer contact details. An attractive daily rate available plus accommodation provided and meal allowances. Farm work preparing yearlings for sales in between events may be available for the right applicants. Bowness Stud and Watershed Farm is a large family run thoroughbred horse breeding, agistment and sale preparation farm, near Young in NSW. We enjoy employing experienced, knowledgeable and competent handlers and educators of strong young thoroughbred horses. Anyone with an Australian work visa with extensive horse experience is most welcome to apply, we are a regional farm so we are eligible to sign off for the 88 days WHV 2nd Visa. Young is a beautiful country town with lots of facilities and amenities, including Woolworths, IGA & Aldi supermarkets, Big W, Bunnings, cafes, pubs and more.
