Ballykenly Stud, ( North Cork) is currently looking for seasonal foaling staff for the 2026 season. We are looking for enthusiastic person who is keen to learn and get stuck in. We are looking for both day and night staff. What we need; foaling experience would be essential for the night staff, if only a season or two. This experience is not essential for day staff. Horse experience is required. keen to learn. Stud work with mares and foals will be an advantage. Drivers licence. We are in the countryside. What we offer. A friendly family run unit, that will offer you lots of hands on experience with our very experienced team, in all areas of the foaling unit. Lots of contacts for future work, America, Australia, New Zealand and all the local studs that are looking for staff. Accommodation Possibility of bringing your own horse. We do not provide visas but are happy to employ people that are legally allowed to work in Ireland.

Must have good English. Be part of a team but able to work on their own.
