Experienced groom required to join a friendly team in a professional show jumping yard - can be a show or home position as preferred. HGV license would be an advantage. Prior experience in a similar role and references are essential.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of the management and care (including veterinary) of competition horses. All the usual grooming duties to be assumed, including taking care of approx. 15 competition horses. Turn out to a high standard is required (to include clipping, plaiting, mane pulling etc). You must be a team player and have a good humour, patience with the horses, thoroughness and punctuality.

Little to no riding will be required, but ground work with the horses (lunging, long-reining) will be.

This position will only be suitable for someone who is responsible, capable of working off their own initiative as well as motivated to work alone and as part of a team.

6 days per week, finishing 17:00 on non-show days. Travelling abroad to shows in the Spring and Autumn. HGV license an advantage, but not essential. To be able to work well as part of a team but responsible enough to work independently when required.
