Harpoon Stables is seeking an experienced Head Groom to join our high-level showjumping yard in Co. Wexford. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a yard manager or show groom at a competition yard. The role involves all aspects of horse care and yard management, including leading a small team, competition preparation, bandaging, plaiting, and maintaining the high standards expected of a performance yard. The yard competes regularly at shows throughout Ireland, with occasional travel to competitions in Europe. Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role at competition level Strong horse care and presentation skills - bandaging and plaiting essential Experience managing or leading a yard team Truck licence desirable
