We are Looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our small Showjumping stable in Headford, Galway.

We are a small yard of 8 horses, we train and produce Sport horses. This role will include feeding, mucking out and all general yard duties. Must be comfortable with dealing with large competition horses, ie lunging, turning in and out of the field.

The ideal candidate will need the following . ✅ Experience in looking after competition horses. ✅ Experience in yard management ✅ Any knowledge of breeding is an added bonus but not a necessity. ✅Driving license. (Not a live in position) ✅ Someone that is clean and tidy. ✅ MUST have a sense of Humour and be able to have fun as well as take your job very seriously. ✅Be polite and friendly on the yard with clients and the rest of the team. ✅ Be able to work independently and show initiative. ✅This is a grooming position although some riding is available for the right person

Previous sport horse experience is essential, there is the opportunity to attend some of Ireland's best shows with us. and this is not a live in position however we could facilitate a horse and including training into your package.
