We are looking for an instructor/assistant yard manager to join our team at our riding school/livery yard/transport yard, based in the beautiful scenic countryside (ten mins from Killarney town) in the South West of Ireland. Position involves teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities in both groups and private lessons including those with additional challenges and needs in our therapeutic riding lessons as well as assisting with all general yard duties including but not limited to; feeding twice daily, mucking out daily, skipping out as required, grooming and upkeeping horses to a top standard, exercising and schooling horses. You will also be asked to assist with managing, organising and helping with seasonal camps. We also have a sister company - PT International Horse Transport - providing national and international horse transport, specialising in European horse transport. This position involves handling horses, preparing them for transport, preparing the truck for transport and occasionally assisting with the transport of horses. Person should be fun, confident, self-motivated and not afraid of hard work, with a passion for working with horses and children. Leadership and communication skills essential. Candidate should be comfortable working alone and in company. Previous experience with horses essential.
