Join our small friendly team caring for 3 beautiful horses and 3 Shetland ponies. 2-3 hours, twice a week, for winter 2026. Potential for extended tenure.
General Responsibilities:
- Morning feed & turnout of horses and ponies
- Feed 8 sweet sheep and 3 cute cats
- Clean front hooves and put on shoes for 2 of the 3 ponies
- Clean and tidy paddocks
- Clean and fill water buckets
- Fill and hang hay nets
- Possibly groom, hoof care, and exercise 1 horse. (24-year-old mare quarter horse, cherished unrideable companion)
Requirements
What We Are Looking For: · Experience with horses (handling, grooming, basic care) · Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in all weather · Reliable and able to work independently · Positive attitude and love of animals
