Equestrian Employer Details

I am the hunt chairman and I have three grown up sons who also come home to hunt at weekends. We do not do second horses but typically have 3 horses out most Saturdays, with some midweek days through the season.

We have a head girl, who also lives on site but who no longer rides. She is very experienced and takes charge of horse welfare, turnout, clipping and half the stables, on working days. We are looking for a groom to join to work 51/2 days per week, taking off Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons. The role will require taking charge of all riding and exercising – ride and lead is essential. All horses are well behaved hunters, but we require an experienced and confident rider – hunting experience would be an advantage.
