Responsibilities include cutting the polo field between April and September for polo practices, strimming around the polo field and paddocks, driving telehandler for muck away and bringing haylage to the stable tenants, keeping equestrian track maintained, poo picking and harrowing it twice daily, keeping areas around stables clean using leaf blower. Maintaining guttering, fencing, horse water troughs. Keeping weeds at bay. Handyman jobs where necessary. In winter painting stables and some areas of grooms' accommodation. Feeding horses with haylage in large fields and paddocks. Assisting at main house with maintenance jobs where required. Looking after owner's dog when away, putting out bins. Maintaining equipment throughout the year.

Self-motivated individual who is a team player with the grooms on site but also able to work efficiently on their own. Attention to detail essential for keeping the farm looking immaculate. Ideally confident around horses as winter feeding of haylage etc required in fields and paddocks, although riding skills not needed. Driver of farm equipment including tractor, telehandler, pick up, quad bike and trailer.
