A small Family Yard in Ascot is looking for a Weekend Groom, working 3 days per week, to look after 3 horses.

Saturday – Sunday 7:30am – 4:00pm (8 paid hours per day, 0.5 hours unpaid break per day) OR split shift: Saturday – Sunday 7:30am – 11:00am and then 3:00pm – 4pm.

£13.50 per hour

Job Description

The Part Time Groom will report directly to the Senior Groom and duties will include:

• Feeding horses

• Turning out

• Mucking out

• Yard tidying / cleaning

• Tacking up for the family to ride

• Riding as and when required

• Turning the horses back in

• Poo picking the paddocks

• Preparing hay nets

• Glasshouse watering (as directed by the Senior Gardener)

Due to the location of the Estate, a driver is required.
