I am looking for someone to work on our sports horse stud, to be involved with general yard duties including mucking out, feeding, horse care, riding and helping with the day to day running of the yard.

We have a great team of people already and need one more person to help with the horses. We are looking for a team person who can also work on their own when required.

You will need to have a genuine love of young sports horses and the desire to give them a really good, steady start in their working life. You will be working with an established team who are friendly and welcoming.

We have modern staff accommodation in centrally heated, double glazed apartments. The apartment which comes with this job is a large 3 bed flat with a main double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, utility room, spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining room. There are two other bedrooms off the entrance hall, one is a small double, the other a single. The views from this apartment are really breathtaking out over the Gordano Valley and towards the Welsh Hills.

We live in a fabulous rural location but are only 20 minutes from Bristol city centre and all main transport links including Bristol international airport. M4 & M5 motorways are 10 minutes away and we have a couple of great village pubs nearby. We take our young horses out to local unaffiliated competitions before they start to do BE, BS or BD classes, so the successful candidate might also be able to groom at competitions.
