Odysseia Stables is operating for 25 years in equestrian tourism offering high quality holidays which are sold through the leading horse travel agencies. We are looking for a good riding level, friendly people’s person, safety responsible, independent working, service minded, rider who is happy to join in a team of 10 persons. Healthy fit condition with weight limit of 80 kilo. European passport, English language and preferably 2nd language. Full time, 6 days a week.
Most of the horses being used in our program have been born here as have their mothers and grandmothers. Nearly all have been sired by cutting or reining, million dollar sires such as Wimpys Little Step, Gallo Del Cielo, SG Frozen Enterprize, Others have been sired by up and coming producing stallions such as Yellow Jersey, Starjac Vintage, & Wranglin In Chex. We do not train nor board outside horses & are also involved in an equine jobs for youth program.

Experienced Passionate Person to Care for our Horses in Ocala, Florida and then Travel to Georgetown, Massachusetts in May. Must be able to put turnout boots on as well as polos and night bandages. In addition, resp. incl. tacking up for dressage and jumping. Must be able to work until mid November. Riding opportunities if experienced in solid basic dressage and jumping skills. Moats Way Equestrian, a five star livery yard near Huntingdon, has a position open for a non-live in Assistant Yard Manager working alongside our full time Yard Manager, who will be going on maternity leave in April.
This super full-time opportunity has become available for a self-motivated person to join our small and friendly team at Moats Way Equestrian. The successful candidate must be able to work using their own initiative but also be a strong team leader to over see the daily running of the yard.
We are seeking a person who has attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards in all aspects of running a yard incorporating first class care of the horses on livery with us. Good communication and excellent organisational skills are a key aspect of this role. As is confidence to have a professional rapport with our liveries as well as motivating and supervising a small team.
Main duties include all yard/stable jobs, general horse care, arena and pasture maintenance.
The role also requires records to be kept up dated, ordering feed and bedding, organising worming and faecal worm egg counts though our vets. You will be required to liaise with vets, farriers and the dentist and relay results to owners and ensure that staff members are informed.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a 5-day week from 8am to 5pm with some 7.30am starts to open up the yard. This will include some weekend days and one full weekend plus bank holidays and holiday cover.
A friendly team player with a mature outlook and the ability to use their initiative. This is a supervisory role and the ability to lead a team is key.
