About the Role: A well-established private equestrian yard in East Sussex (BN26) is seeking an experienced and dedicated groom/rider with yard maintenance capabilities. This position offers sole charge responsibilities in a quiet, professional environment.

The role may suit one full-time candidate or two part-time candidates seeking shared part-time work.

Essential Requirements: Equestrian Experience:

• Demonstrable experience working with young sports horses
• Competent in flat work and show jumping to 1.25m standard (minimum)
• Confident and experienced in handling stallions and young horses
• Strong riding and horsemanship skills Yard Maintenance & Practical Skills:
• Ability to maintain high standards of yard presentation
• Competent operating tractors and power tools
• General property maintenance capabilities
• Reliable, methodical approach to daily tasks Personal Attributes:
• Passionate about equine care and welfare
• Good-humoured, positive nature
• Hardworking and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently (sole charge)
• Dog lover essential
