Mayfield is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Groom to join its Equestrian Team based in the School’s own stable yard. Candidates should be experienced in all aspects of horse care and show preparation and will ideally be able to clip and plait. Candidates must be able to ride and will have a minimum of 2 years’ riding experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a variety of horses up to competition level, be able to work as part of a team but be self-motivated, be hard working and flexible.

In return candidates will receive a competitive rate of pay, 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (time off in lieu for worked Bank Holidays), lunch during the school term and a generous contributory pension scheme. There is a possibility that the successful candidate may be able to bring their own horse. Further training / teaching provided.
