Groom/Au pair/Mother's Help that can manage a 4 year old & a 6 year old. Both children are at school/nursery. Our daughter loves riding and will need to be out and about on her ponies as much as possible. She has weekly lessons, enjoys taking part in all pony club activities. We compete as much as possible and will be giving showing a go this summer. Our son rides when he feels like it, his loves are mounted games and jumping & all things speedy! Our son needs additional support with his emotions he is going through diagnosis for ADHD and ASD, the successful person would need to be able to bond with him to support him with his overwhelm at times. The ponies live out but are stabled overnight during the coldest and wettest weather. Daily tasks of grooming, poo picking, mucking out. Clipping, lunging, meeting with the vet, farrier, physio etc when needed. Would need to be able to maintain fencing where needed with support of myself. We are looking for someone to help implement structure for the children and ponies on a daily basis. I am a stay at home Mother but am heavily involved in charity work and am struggling to juggle this alongside 2 children, 3 ponies & general life. Own horse a possibility for the right person, would need to live out 24/7 in a herd environment. I have a hunting cob who is currently off work indefinitely. If i find the right person I might look at getting a steady eddy to ride alongside the children. I would prefer someone who can cook healthy meals and snacks for the kids and must be clean and tidy. We are flexible for you to be studying or have another job alongside. (must be structured and not sporadic). We have camp, comps and will be taking the kids and ponies away for a month to Dorset over the summer so must be available to come with us. Please don't apply if you have no childcare experience. We would ideally like someone that would like to be part of a family yet be independent and self motivated. References would be required.

We keep our ponies at home weather allowing. In the depths of winter it is easier to keep them at a yard just up the road as it has a floodlit arena. We have an additional 3 acre paddock when we need to turn any of the ponies away for any time period. We have 3 ponies 8hh mini shetland that my daughter rides, an 11.2hh welsh that is a real pony club treasure and my 14.2hh hunting cob who is currently rehabbing. We are a pony club & hunting family (myself and my daughter, the boys have no interest)
