Equine Therapy Centre Assistant £26,686 - £27,372 per annum A minimum of 39 hours per week Permanent

About the Role

• Provide daily care and exercise for horses under the Equine Therapy Centre Manager's direction. • Assist in all learning, research, and commercial activities within the Centre. • Support veterinary surgeons and physiotherapists in delivering and monitoring rehabilitation programmes. • Manage case admissions and discharges. • Support the Equine Therapy Centre Assistant Manager in the organisation and delivery of out-patient appointments for water treadmill exercise. • Train and exercise horses on both high-speed and water treadmills for the purpose of teaching, tours and research.

About You • Experience with competition horses and high standards of care. • Competency in ground schooling and handling fresh/fit horses. • Strong communication, teamwork, and observational skills. • Interest in equine veterinary medicine/physiotherapy.
