Experienced Permanent Groom Required for a full time Hunter/Polo Role near Tetbury, South Gloucestershire.
Sole-charge private family hunter yard in the winter and part of the family polo yard team of 4 in the Summer.
The role will suit an organised, self-motivated person who is a confident and experienced competition groom/rider, a team player, but happy to work alone. Includes weekend work.
Skills to include: • Riding • Turnout and plaiting • Clipping • Full car licence • Lorry Licence and/or trailer licence. (Full training for lorry licence can be provided for right candidate)
The yard has good all year round facilities and long standing team members to offer support. Position would suit someone looking for long term varied role. Salary dependant on experience. Start date currently flexible.

Family run breeding stud, breeding polo ponies and dealing with the daily care and management of broodmares, foals, recipients and youngstock.
Private Polo yard - management and care of polo ponies during the polo season, as well preparation for chukkas and matches. Around 8 - 14 playing ponies in work during the polo season.
