Stable Groom – City of London Police Mounted Unit Bushy Park Stables, Hampton Court, TW12 2EJ

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the City of London Police Mounted Unit as a Stable Groom, supporting the care and welfare of operational police horses. This hands-on role involves daily grooming, feeding, mucking out, and maintaining high standards of horse welfare and yard management. Clipping would be a desirable skill.

You will work as part of a disciplined, professional team helping ensure horses are fit, healthy, and ready for duty.

We are looking for someone who: ✔ Has practical experience handling horses ✔ Is reliable, physically fit, and calm under pressure ✔ Takes pride in high standards of horse care and stable management ✔ Works well within a team environment

Weekend and outdoor working required. BHS qualifications or similar are desirable.
