We are looking for a positive, motivated individual to join our friendly team on a small privately owned yard of thoroughbreds, ranging from a few 2 year olds to older ex brood mares. Horse care, and stable management is the main priority. No foaling, foal watch or riding required. Duties include all stable and horse care, grooming and mucking out. Beneficial if you can drive a 3.5ton lorry but not essential. Start date ASAP.

Requirements

Maintain high standards of welfare to all horses.

Full UK driving license, able to drive yard manual vehicle, beneficial if able to drive a 3.5 ton lorry but not essential.

Weekday hours 8am - 4pm, with a half hour break in the morning and 1 hour lunch break. Weekend hours 8am to 11am & 3pm to 4pm.

Weekends are on a rota basis, if you work the weekend you will be given a day off in lieu during the week. This can be discussed at interview.
