We are looking for an experienced senior competition groom to join our small private showjump/event yard near Buntingford Hertfordshire.

This is a hands-on role working with quality competition Horses so we're looking for someone who takes real pride in producing Horses to a high standard and enjoys being part of a friendly professional team

The successful applicant will be confident and capable of taking sole charge, and experienced in all aspects of competiton grooming including stayaways. Reliability, common sense and excellent attention to detail are essential.

The role includes:

All general Yard duties Preparing Horses for training and competition Clipping, trimming and plaiting Bandaging Sole Charge Organising feed/bedding orders and farrier/vet visits Some riding, mainly hacking is also required

Applicants must have extensive previous experience on a professional competition yard.

Full UK driving license essential.

Excellent rates of pay, 28 days holiday and Pension. Five day week plus overtime
