Full Time Groom / Instructor South London

We are a small friendly BHS approved London riding school and are looking for a new member of staff to join our team. The role will involve general yard duties with an amount of teaching. Our new instructor/groom must be fun, friendly and professional with up to date knowledge of teaching and coaching. Must be self-motivated, capable of sole charge and willing to progress within their career.

Based in the heart of South West London, Deen City Farm is one of the capital’s oldest community farms. Spread over 5 acres and home to animals of all shapes and sizes, we combine rural activities and education to actively engage local people, irrespective of their background or abilities. Our Riding School has 13 horses and ponies and provides lessons to riders of all levels from age 8 and up.

Ideal candidate would hold at least Bhs stage 2 teach or equivalent and have had previous experience teaching in a similar environment.

Regular training towards further exams can be provided by BHS II SM SE on well-schooled horses.

5 day week / 8 hour day.

Salary £21,000.
