We are looking for a suitable work rider to ride out on the gallops and assist with some yard work on our small NH yard of 15 horses. Applicant needs experience in racing/pt2pt yards and understand racehorses. The position can be full or part-time and is flexible. Accommodation available. Race rides are available for the right person.

We are a small, friendly National Hunt Yard nestled below the rolling dales of the Wharfedale valley at Ilkley Moor in Yorkshire. We have 20 stables, a horse walker, sand schooling pen, grass gallops and all-weather nearby, 300 acres of farmed grass pasture, a few sheep, a very annoying pet lamb and a cheeky terrier. In 2020 we won the Farm and Stable Supplies Staff Welfare and Innovation Award, national recognition for offering staff oppurtunity and flexibility in their position. The yard is close to train/bus links. We are now looking for another fun, dedicated person to join us in the team.
