We're looking for a full time groom for our family yard based 5 miles west of Morpeth on a modern yard designed for horse welfare & ease of management. This position comes with a charming 2 bedroom cottage & a competitive salary. The role involves looking after our hunters & point to point / hunt chasers. The successful candidate must be happy & confident to ride fit hunters & exercise the pointers when necessary. Excellent turnout skills are a must & previous experience in a similar role would be great. This is a rural position so a driving licence is essential & preferably an HGV licence would be a bonus (if necessary we would put you through the required test). You will be supported by an experienced & knowledgeable part time team but there will be times when you will be expected to work alone so you must be reliable & responsible. The position is 5 days a week including Saturday & we need someone who is flexible with timings & skills. If this sounds of interest please get in touch.
