Our clients based in the Chiltern village of Chilton are looking for are looking for an experienced, energetic and self-motivated live in Groom to manage their family yard. You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the established yard. All the usual yard duties turning out, bringing in, mucking out, feeding, grooming, tack cleaning, liaising with farrier, vet etc. Keep yard organised and tidy. Helping with children’s riding (aged13,11 & 8) – taking them hacking, getting them ready for lessons, Pony Club, competitions (PC, NSEA, hunter trials and occasional hunting). Taking ponies to be schooled locally - confident to drive trailer / 3.5tonne box and who can keep the competition horses fit. Walking the family dog and also housesit when the family are away. This role has a gross salary of £2,333 per month
