We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced groom to join our small, easy-going private yard of four easy to do geldings, including hunters and competition horses.
It's a lovely, well-equipped set-up with hot water, hot wash, heat lamps, electricity and everything needed to make life that bit easier, especially in winter!
Main duties include:
Mucking out and general stable management
Poo picking
Strapping, proper grooming
Keeping the yard, stables and equipment clean and tidy
General day-to-day yard jobs and horse care
There’s also the possibility of riding for the right person. Riding isn't essential, but could be a lovely added opportunity for someone.
Hours: Ideally 12pm–5pm, around 5 hours a day, although we can be flexible. There may also be more hours available as winter kicks on.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and enjoys being around horses. Previous experience with hunters would be a real bonus!
A friendly, relaxed yard with lovely horses and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd love to find someone who fits in and enjoys being part of the team.

The yard is well set up with all the facilities to make life easier, including hot water, a hot wash, heat lamps, electricity and all the equipment you could need.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone for around 5 hours a day, 12pm–5pm, although there’s likely to be the opportunity for more hours as winter kicks on. Can be flexible!
We’re looking for someone reliable, experienced and happy to get stuck in!
