Part-Time Experienced, reliable and trustworthy Groom sought on Private Yard of 8 family horses and ponies.

Schedule: sole charge to cover head grooms days off (Friday & Saturdays), a shared working third day (Thursday) is also available. Working days are generally 8am - 4pm but inevitably require some flexibility on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily maintenance of overall yard routine and exercise plans to include all daily yard and paddock tasks. Horses live out most of the year, only in overnight during the depths of winter. Fortunate to have all year turnout.

You will on your days be solely responsible for the overall care of the horses, we expect a genuine love for horses, a high level of care and attention to detail.

Our horses are established family all rounders, ideally the applicant will be a confident and capable rider as hacking and schooling of family horses is available, but we will consider a non riding applicant as long as they can prepare horses to be ridden by the family and be experienced in all other aspects of horse care. Experience at towing a trailer is desirable.

Most importantly we need you to be hard working, take initiative and be a good communicator to work collaboratively with the head groom and the wider site staff.

Up to date references and own reliable transport is required due to location. (OX15)
