We're currently seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and outgoing Equestrian Groom & Junior Coach to join our Equestrian team. When it comes to horse riding in Scotland, the Gleneagles Equestrian School stands head and shoulders above the rest. Here, on our 50-acre Scottish equestrian centre, we offer indoor and outdoor coaching, horse riding lessons and horse walking tours for guests at all levels, from age four up.

Taking immense pride in every stable duty, with meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for our horses’ wellbeing. You’ll notice the small things, proactively reporting any concerns, changes in behaviour, or signs of injury Providing a warm, welcome presence and informed point of contact for all visitors to our stable yard Preparing our horses and ponies for lessons with precision and care, ensuring every detail is perfect so that every ride begins with confidence and calm, and our guest experience is both fabulous and memorable Managing turn in and turn out routines thoughtfully, promoting the health, happiness, and natural behaviour of our horses through stimulating and consistent routines Delivering lead rein and beginner lessons with enthusiasm and patience, supporting senior coaches with group rides and countryside hacks, always ensuring a safe, fun, and informative experience Playing an active part in our Pony Club programme, helping inspire and educate the next generation of riders while supporting the wider mission of this much-loved organisation Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way motivated and engaged, sharing your vision for excellence
Requirements
The kind of person we're looking for:
You’ve achieved your BHS Stage 2 qualification and you’re passionate about progressing further in your teaching career, we’ll support you every step of the way Outgoing and approachable, you thrive on connecting with people and you excel in a collaborative environment A natural team player, you’re always willing to lend a hand, share knowledge, and support others in delivering exceptional experiences You’re confident in looking after our guests and members, responding to their questions with warmth and professionalism Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
