Millfield Equestrian Centre is seeking a stable manager to head up our dynamic and hardworking team. The successful applicant will have experience of managing a large yard and team, will have exceptional communication skills and be dedicated to the care of their equine charges. They should hold a minimum of BHS Stage 4 Stable Manager, ideally Stage 5, though experience and personality come before qualifications. An attractive package, including use of school facilities, regular CPD training and on-site accommodation, is available. Millfield is one of the most highly rated BHS approved yards and the largest onsite centre in any British school, housing around 60 horses, including school horses and 30 plus student horses at livery.
The Stable Manager will work from 6.45am to approximately 6.30pm during term time, with reduced hours during the school holidays, for 5 days per week.

Equestrian Centre for Independent boarding school situated in Somerset and caters to children ages 2 - 18.
Facilities include stabling for up to 100 horses over 2 sites, combining accommodation in American style barns and traditional stables, indoor arena 44m x 64m, outdoor arena 50m x 70m, 2 sets of BS standard show jumps and portable X-C jumps, cross-country schooling fences, off road canter track and access to gallops, all-weather horse walker and round pen and resident yard staff.
Consists of 120 acres in which there is a hacking trail, a canter track and two all-weather arenas and a BE cross country course by Adrian Ditcham, designer of the 2012 Olympics cross country course.
