Yard Groom required Farnham flexible hours 4 days per week including Saturdays and Sundays or a weekend groom

Rare opportunity to join a fantastic well run riding school with indoor facilities. We are looking for an experienced reliable and hardworking yard groom to join The Kiln Equestrian Centre in a stunning rural setting nr Farnham. You will work with a varied and rewarding mix of riding school horses, retired horses and high performance competition horses alongside a small friendly and supportive team. This is a busy but kind environment with very high standards of horse care and pride in the training in all three disciplines of dressage, show jumping and x country.

The Role • Four days per week including Saturdays • Would consider part time or full time hours to suit the right individual • accomodation available • BHS training and development • two month probation period • breaking and producing youngsters • training in teaching progression and promotion

Duties include • shared responsibility for the general care of 25 horses • feeding, turnout and bring in • tacking up for lessons • heavy manual work including shavings, hay and water buckets • leading hacks out in our local forest About You • proven experience working in a busy professional yard • physically fit and comfortable with demanding manual work • Reliable, trustworthy and hard working with pride in your work • Calm, capable and professional around horses and people Safeguarding and checks • right to work in the UK • References required • DBS required due to working around children How to apply Please email your CV to thekilnec@aol.com
