We are a busy, progressive and welfare-led BHS approved riding school, livery yard and RDA centre in Surrey, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Instructor & Business Development Manager to join our senior team. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being fully involved in yard life while helping drive the continued growth of a thriving equestrian business. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Yard Manager and Managing Partner, supporting daily operations and playing a key role in shaping and expanding our lesson programmes, activities and client experience. Teaching forms an important part of the role. You will deliver safe, engaging lessons to a wide range of riders including children, adults and RDA clients, while supporting BHS training pathways and rider development. You will mentor junior instructors, apprentices and work experience students, and maintain high standards of horse welfare, schooling and yard presentation. A core focus of the role is business development. We are looking for someone with energy and initiative who can help plan and deliver pony days, camps, clinics, competitions and themed activities, support marketing and social media, and develop engaging lesson pathways that build a vibrant, professional and fun riding school environment. The role will also support our inclusive riding and alternative education provision within a calm and structured setting. Applicants should hold BHS qualifications or equivalent experience, be organised, proactive and commercially aware, and enjoy working as part of a friendly, ambitious and supportive team.
