WANTED Head Groom for 5* Event Yard The job: Salary circa £31,200pa + overtime (paid by the hour) 5.5 - 6 days a week Travel to top flight events in the UK and around Europe (Badminton, Burghley etc) Contract on offer (including proper PAYE, 28 days holiday and sick pay) + overtime available for extra work during busy weeks/for competitions.

Seeking a head groom for a fantastic small string of eventers ranging from 4yo-5* as well as a couple of jumpers on a lovely and friendly event yard. Sole charge will be necessary occasionally, but you will mainly be working alongside myself and another fab full time member of staff. We are geared towards high performance, but we also have a great time and really enjoy the horses. Plenty of travelling available to events, trainings and other shows. We try to be as collaborative as possible, and really appreciate people bringing their own ideas and experiences to the job to try and improve ourselves as a team. The person currently in the role would highly recommend the job, and we have multiple references from past employees. Based in Radway, South Warwickshire.

The right candidate must:

• Have worked with competition and young horses before (not necessarily event horses)
• Work to a high standard with attention to detail in all yard duties
• Be capable of hacking out on competition horses
• Be sympathetic and patient with the horses
• Be able to drive a car and 3.5ton lorry
