We are looking for a dedicated and reliable groom to join our international showjumping team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about top-level horses and keen to be part of a professional, ambitious environment.
Role: Home & Show Groom (Riding Ability a Bonus)
Key Responsibilities: • Daily yard duties (mucking out, haying, feeding, general care) • Lunging and basic exercise routines • Preparing horses for training and competition • Clipping, trimming, and maintaining turnout to a high standard • Travelling to national and international shows • Assisting at competitions: tacking up, warm-up support, ring preparation • Maintaining a clean, organised yard environment
Ideal Candidate: • Experienced with competition horses • Confident, calm, and able to work to a high standard • Capable of taking sole charge when needed • Riding ability is a bonus (exercising/flatwork, no breaking) • Hard-working, positive, and committed to horse welfare • Must have a valid passport for travelling to international shows

European Sports Horses are an international showjumping yard based in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. Carron Nicol and her son Leo Lamb run the yard. Everyone is very friendly and they all take pride in their work. We have over 30 competition horses which are all in full work. We have our own breeding program as well which consists of 10-15 foals a year. Really good opportunity for someone!
