We're looking for an enthusiastic person to fill a role as a coach in our riding school as well as working on the event / livery yard as a Yard Supervisor when the coaching is a bit quieter Our riding school Cotswold Hills Riding Centre prides itself on a high standard of coaching, giving our clients a good depth of knowledge and tailoring it to their wishes, some people ride to compete at the highest level whilst others ride to have fun with friends so it is important to strike the balance of fun / information. Therefore our coaches need to have thorough knowledge to draw from but also an engaging, fun personality. We have children from 4years old just starting through to people out competing on our horses so there is a nice variety of coaching The Yard Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient running of the yard alongside / in the absence of our Yard Manager. The role may suit someone with a good depth of knowledge who enjoys coaching people of all ages and levels whilst wanting to move towards a manager position. The person must have good organisational and communication skills as well as practical experience. I have a number of horses competing from youngsters to 5 star. You will ideally be able turn out to a high standard efficiently, clip, trim, pack the lorry. Be happy to lead and handle fit, bigger horses on the ground. Some riding and fittening work are optional if you would like it to be part of your job, but not essential. This is a full time position and will normally be 5 days per week (potentially 5.5 days when other staff on holiday).
