We are seeking freelance British Horse Society qualified coaches for Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays – this can be for any combination of these days or just one.

Details are as follows: -

Weekend hours are 08:15 to 18:00 at the rate of £40 per hour for group lessons, with a guaranteed earning of £345 per day. Weekday hours are 10:00 to 19:30 at the rate of £20 per hour for private lessons and £30 per hour for group lessons, with a guaranteed earning of £195 per day.

Whichever day is chosen, this then belongs to the assigned coach and they will be teaching their own weekly returning client base comprising of appreciative adults and children, all of whom are keen to keep improving.

We are situated in an idyllic rural location within the Southdowns National Park and provide exceptional, well-maintained rider training facilities, which includes a large indoor riding arena. Our coaches have fifty quality, schooled, and safe horses to teach upon, plus an efficient, professional back-up team acting as support.

All you have to do is turn-up and coach your own clients - we do absolutely everything else, which includes making sure you have concurrent clients at all times. All we ask for in return are reliable, dedicated, and enthusiastic BHS qualified coaches, and as our freelance coaches remain with us for years, this emphasises just how well this arrangement works for both parties.

Each weekday of every school holiday period we hold children's activity days from 10:00 to 16:00. These are covered by our coaches already in situ who choose to do so and provide an additional income stream of £30 per hour, or £150 for each short day covered, thereby providing a useful, optional opportunity, to earn.

• Must be a BHS qualified coach.
• With a four hundred weekly returning membership with have a wide range of ability levels and ages, therefore there is a role here for all coaching levels between BHS Stage 2 to BHS Stage 5.
• You will be coaching on the same day/s every week. Holiday leave is expected, however this must not be greater than the minimum allowance for PAYE holiday leave.
• Reliability and good health are key. Our USP is our clients having the reassurance of the same coach for their lessons.
• Punctuality is essential to maintain the professional efficiency of the timetable in place and to which all clients and staff adhere.
• Love of the horse goes without saying. The welfare of our horses is our number one priority and it must remain the number one priority of everyone who works here. The horse will always come first, regardless.
