West Kington Stud was founded by Tim and Jane Holderness-Roddam in the early 1990s and continued to expand over the following three decades into the prominent and flourishing breeding centre it is today. Our primary focus is to breed top competition horses with good temperaments, soundness and ability.
Managed by Harry Thirlby, and supported by the experienced repro team at B&W Equine Vets, WKS offers a friendly, professional and knowledgeable service for mare and stallion owners. Throughout the breeding season, we welcome mares on to stud for foaling, insemination and embryo transfer, and receive first class individual care and attention from our reliable and passionate team.
Our well established, DEFRA approved centre offers the opportunity to freeze store and distribute semen for worldwide export. We provide safe and efficient training and collection as well as offering specialist screening and analysis services from our purpose-built laboratory.
