The Royal Artillery Saddle Club Larkhill - RASC(L) is entering its next phase and is looking for an outstanding individual to lead and manage this fantastic facility.
Job Title: Saddle Club Manager Responsible to: The Trustees (Direct report to Co-Chair)) Responsible for: Line management of Yard Manager and Administrative Assistant, Daily operations of the RASC(L), Safety of all visitors to the RASC(L) Location: The RA Saddle Club, Larkhill Garrison Relationships with: Staff, clients, livery owners and sharers, Veterinary staff, farrier, physio, saddle fitter, other suppliers and contractors
- To manage the Royal Artillery Saddle Club (Larkhill) in compliance with the charities Objects and to implement the strategic direction of the Board of Trustees.
- To lead a team of employees, volunteers and contractors in the management and delivery of a quality riding and livery facility for serving Military, their dependants, veterans and the wider community.
- To oversee all daily operations of an equestrian facility, managing staff, ensuring high standards of horse care, handling administrative tasks, maintaining safety, and liaising with owners/clients/stakeholders, combining some hands-on practical work, coaching/teaching, with leadership to ensure smooth, efficient running of the yard, often involving early mornings, weekends, and physical activity.
- To plan, manage and deliver events such as clinics, competitions, and other income generating activities.
