The Royal Artillery Saddle Club Larkhill - RASC(L) - is an outstanding equestrian facility located in the heart of Salisbury Plain and within the security wire of the Royal School of Artillery. The RASC(L) offers full and part livery, riding tuition, hacking, competitions, and clinics.

Job Title: Yard Manager Responsible to: Saddle Club Manager Responsible for: Line management of all Yard Grooms, safety of all visitors to the RASC(L)L yard Location: The RA Saddle Club, Larkhill Garrison Salary: Full Time position – Up to £30,200 pa subject to experience

• To lead and manage a team of grooms and instructors/coaches in the delivery of a quality riding facility for serving Military, their dependant, veterans and the wider community.
• To oversee all aspects of horse care, stable management, and yard staff supervision, ensuring high standards of horse care, training/exercise, and lesson preparation, while leading junior staff, managing supplies, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment, combining hands-on practical work with leadership to ensure smooth, efficient running of the yard, often involving early mornings, weekends, and physical activity.
• To act as a Coach and Instructor in the delivery of rider training.
• To cover the duties of the Saddle Club Manager in their absence e.g. days off and annual leave.
