Riding Instructor Wanted – New Canaan Mounted Troop New Canaan Mounted Troop is looking for an experienced riding instructor to join our team!

We are a nonprofit horsemanship program serving children and teens ages 7–18, with riders ranging from complete beginners through more experienced riders. We are especially looking for Saturday availability, with the opportunity to grow into a larger role. Up to 30 hours per week may be available, with the potential for benefits.

Ideal candidates should:

• Have experience teaching children and teens
• Be comfortable teaching beginner through intermediate riders
• Have a strong foundation in hunt seat/equitation
• Prioritize safety, horsemanship, and confidence-building
• Be reliable, positive, and work well as part of a team
