The Summer Ranch Program Lead is responsible for scheduling, planning, and leading the ranch camp program and its staff (Wrangler, Assistant Wrangler(s), and Ranch Counselors). Coordinate logistics, lead campfires and Bible Studies, and work alongside the wranglers and counselors to provide an excellent experience for ranch campers. All Shoshone staff serve on a close-knit team where fun and shared faith in Jesus are central to what you do!
Located at our western guest ranch in a gorgeous, riverside mountain setting at Shoshone Mountain Retreat, the ranch camp program allows campers to develop horse skills in the arena and on trails at Shoshone Creek Ranch. This program includes daily horse time, plus popular camp activities like splashing in the swimmin’ hole, the 40-foot natural climbing wall, tubing the river, crafts, campfire cooking, worship & Bible study. The program includes care and knowledge of horses and tack with a focus on safety, grooming, horse & ranch chores, saddling, leading, mounting and daily riding.

Shoshone Creek Ranch is surrounded by 2.5 million acres of National forests and located on the western edge of the famous Bitterroot Mountains on the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River. The program operates under an Outfitters & Guides Permit from the Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
