Join our leadership team and play a critical role in maintaining the health, safety, and daily operations of our equestrian program while helping create meaningful experiences for campers.

Role and Responsibilities The Barn Coordinator is responsible for managing the care, health, and daily operations of a herd of 17 horses. This role works closely with the Wrangler Coordinator to support wrangler programming, staff supervision, and camper riding experiences while ensuring smooth barn logistics and safety standards. The Barn Coordinator serves as both a behind-the-scenes operations leader and an active program contributor while assisting with lessons, trail rides, and staff training while maintaining excellence in horse welfare and facility management.

Horseback riding is a great way for campers to challenge themselves by trying something new and build skill during their time at camp. Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21
• Strong experience in Western horseback riding
• Barn management and horse care experience
• Ability to lead and supervise staff while creating engaging youth programming

Preferred Experience

• Horse health care monitoring and herd management
• Riding lesson instruction or trail ride supervision
• Youth development or camp leadership experience

YOUR LIVING ARRANGEMENTS The Barn Coordinator will live in a Yurt with other leadership team members and our volunteer wrangler staff. Our yurts are air conditioned.
