About the Position
BraveHearts Equine Center is seeking reliable and hardworking Stable Hands to join our team for the winter season. With our current staff being H2A members, we will need help during their leave. We are looking for dedicated help to ensure our herd continues receiving the best care possible throughout the colder months. Training and onboarding will be provided.

Responsibilities • Perform AM and PM feedings • Replenish round bales in pastures as needed • Clean stalls for elderly or rehabilitating horses (limited number) • Administer medications and perform basic wound care when necessary • Clean and fill indoor water buckets • Maintain and clean automatic waterers, including removing ice as needed • Operate tractors, gators, and spreaders for feeding and manure management

Requirements • Comfortable handling horses of all ages and sizes, including drafts • Experience operating equipment • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Dependable and consistent attendance • Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Located in Paris, Kentucky, BraveHearts Equine Center is a 140-acre farm whose mission is to rescue as many horses and burros as possible. BraveHearts Equine Center is the facility name, and the center and property is owned by Bluegrass Drafts LLC of Celebration Florida. Our goal is to create a sanctuary for the senior rescued animals on our farm and rehabilitate, train, and find a forever home for younger equines.
