Looking for a Summer Internship That Gets You Out of the Classroom and Into the Barn?
YOUR SUMMER. YOUR PASSION. OUR BARN.
Are you studying Equine Science, Equine Management, Animal Science, or enrolled in an Equestrian Program? Looking for hands-on experience, a chance to grow your skills, and a summer that is anything but ordinary? We might have just the opportunity for you!
Spend Summer 2027 with us at Camp Kippewa / Kippewa Equestrian Academy, where you'll be part of a fun, energetic equestrian program that puts both horses and campers first.
This is more than a summer spent around horses. It's an opportunity to gain valuable, real-world experience in daily barn management, horse care, and the operation of a busy summer equestrian program. From feeding, mucking stalls, turnout, and daily horse care to supporting lessons and helping create a positive experience for our campers, you'll get an inside look at what it takes to keep a successful equestrian program running.
We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable, hardworking individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves, jump in, learn new things, and become part of an incredible team. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine love for horses and working with kids are must-haves!
And don't worry, it's not all work! We believe the best summers are built on teamwork, plenty of laughter, a little barnyard silliness, and friendships that last long after the horses are turned out for the night.
